5 Levels of Investing

Prowealth Investments Workshops educate Clients through the 5 Levels of Investing. You can't step straight into Level 5. Level 5 requires the knowledge and experience of the other 4 Levels in which you are then equipped with the resources to live Level 5.

Level One - Beginning

You have decided to go ahead and buy an Investment Property. Though still scared and worried about the first year, you need to be congratulated for starting. This level is to help those contemplating their first purchase or to reassure those who have started that it's natural to be apprehensive at first.

Level Two - Start a Portfolio

You now have one Investment and want to Increase your Portfolio. This level educates you on the options you can take to minimise the risk of adding more properties. It will cover three different directions you could go from here so you will know up front the best direction to head. Your Portfolio would end up with 1-4 Properties.

Level Three - Property Trading

Now it is time to soar to New Heights. You are comfortable with your financial position but want to be a little daring without risking what you already have in place. Property Trading is all about matching what you currently have and selecting the right trading options to improve your position. You will learn about 'put and call' contracts, option trading, purchasing with no finance in place and even buy to renovate to hold or sell. You will be in a great position to now educate your children and get them started in investing so they can use it to have the equity to buy their own home.

Level Four - Advanced Investing

This level takes you into understanding Company and Unit Trust structures to purchase property. You will learn to pool funds with other 'like' investors to purchase development sites to build or buy million dollar penthouses to on sell. You will also learn how to use your Superannuation to purchase Investment Properties. Your Portfolio will be around 10 Properties at any one time but you will trade in and out of some property yearly.

Level Five - Full Time Investor

Property Investing is now your Full Time Job. Sit back on an island and with your laptop keep up to date on your Portfolio. You have set in place enough Properties and Trading options to generate an income of what you desire. Imagine buying and selling 2 to 3 Properties a year and generating a salary of $60,000 to $100, 000 after tax, as well as having numerous other properties working for you at the same time!
